Stanza Living – Legal Counsel – Litigation (3-8 yrs)

– Drafting of written statements, evidences, interim applications, written submissions, case summaries in litigation matter primarily recovery and Consumer cases, land disputes

– Preparing hearing-wise synopsis and researching articles and case laws

– Vetting and preparing replies to legal notices

– Maintaining records of pending and upcoming legal matters, reviewing progress and monitoring court hearings in District Courts, Consumer Commissions, High Courts and various other forums

– Liaising with police, enforcement agencies, various government officials for resolution of cases (both at pre-litigation and post-litigation stages)

– Liaising and attending conferences at external lawyers office in relation to pending legal matters

– Conducting inter-departmental co-ordination for clearance of bills of external lawyers, other day to day affairs

– Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements, renewals, addendums including but not limited service agreement, transportation agreement, lease agreement, etc. pertaining to litigation matters

– Provide legal assistance, advice, and guidance to the business heads and respective stakeholders of the Company to resolve commercial disputes, criminal matters, pre-litigation matters, recovery matters by or against the Company and/or its officials

– Co-ordinate, follow-up, maintain records (MIS) in dispute resolution & litigation matters, including collection/recovery matters both filed by or against the company

– Keeping a track on the progress of all the litigations filed by or against the company or its officials and preparing MIS for the same
