Senior Manager – Legal – Consumer Durable (10-15 yrs)

– The prime responsibility of this position would be to manage complete corporate legal function & statutory compliance aspects for the organization with prime focus on commercial Issues, litigation & compliances at the factory & corporate office

– Initiating legal proceedings for recovery of dues/debts from the defaulters/debtors

– Working out strategies for protecting the Company’s interest

– Evaluating legal documents and Co-coordinating with Senior Lawyers for representation of the Company before Supreme Court, High Court and other courts and Quasi-Judicial Bodies and Arbitration

– Managing IPR

– Responsible for good corporate governance

– Attending to labour matters and monitoring compliance under various Industrial Acts., Risk Management and setting Internal Control Processes

– Ensuring compliance of all the relevant laws applicable to the Company

– To advise various BUs, Departments, and the management on various legal aspects

– Look after land/property matters

– Transaction’s structuring

– Ensure optimum resource management by way of planning, directing, supporting & controlling functioning of the dept.; ensure effective team management & development
