Head – Operations – Banking/BPO (2-4 yrs)
We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Operations Head.
Responsibilities:
– Review and where required introduce new detailed processes covering all areas of operations of the company covering inside sales, branch ops. HR, accounts, transaction management, IT, sales, marketing and operational aspects of any other activity in the company
– Review actual implementation of all operational processes; gap analysis and time bound program to attain high degree of operational efficiencies
– Review and where required introduce new productivity benchmarks for every activity / position
– Review and where required introduce new performance review process against benchmarks to ensure business and revenue targets are well supported by operational efficiencies
– Create training manuals, oversee training sessions and create metrics to track training efficiency
– Conduct as required daily/weekly and monthly performance review covering all operations to achieve maximum productivity from each position
– Monitor and control all debtors, creditors, tax liabilities etc. to safeguard the company from any financial and reputational losses
– Achieve full control over reconciliation of various accounting heads
– Achieve full control over card funding ops and ensure balances on cards are always reconciled
– Review and where required introduce new MIS and analytical tools
– Identify repetitious work that can be automated and create tech enabled processes to improve efficiency
– Track sales effectiveness and constantly optimize efficiency/ revenue output from sales staff
Qualifications:
– 2-4 years of experience in a Bank, reputed travel or forex company, money transfer company or a reputed BPO (covering voice and back office)
– Relevant experience in managing medium sized ops covering about 1000 plus transactions a day from multiple branches and large agent networks cover several hundred cities
– Top class people management skills to effectively manage people with many different skills sets in a mid-sized company of 150 to 250 people
– Must have exposure to work environment with high degree of automation
