Head – Legal (Senior management)
The Head of Legal would be tasked with identifying and analyzing legal risks and implications in context of the Indian sub continent of all of the business’s transactions, keeping the senior management in all departments of the business informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the business.
The job Profile would include but not limited to :
(b) Drafting of agreements, notices, contracts, complaints and all legal documents.
(c) Mitigate any impending legal disputes and litigation; advising the business functions on prevention of potential disputes and mitigation of legal risks.
(d) Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly.
(e) Being the SPOC with external senior counsels, law firms for litigation assistance.
(f) Advise on critical brand protection areas relating to IP and information management, including data privacy and cyber security,
(g) Advise on legal issues and potential exposures through individual or group meetings, seminars or written opinions.
(h) Monitor the compliance at all levels and Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or require
(i) Legal due diligence’s and Internal audit of the organisation processes while highlighting risks if any.
(j) Provide guidance and counsel and serve as to the Board of Directors ensuring that appropriate governance processes that are to be executed.
(k) Providing updates and reports to the internal committees, partners and the Board on a regular basis on relevant legal issues Conduct of Board and Annual General Meetings and the related compliances.
