Position Objective:

– Heading all legal and secretarial aspects of the organisation. Responsible for the effective and efficient legal support for business restructuring, mergers/amalgamation, acquisitions, contracts, documentation management, providing legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.

– Ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted. Maintaining effective records and administration. Upholding the legal requirements of governing documents, charity law, company law etc


– The prime responsibility of this position would be to manage complete legal & compliance aspects for the organization with prime focus on Commercial Issues, Litigation & Compliances at the factory & corporate office

– Initiating legal proceedings for recovery of dues/debts from the defaulters/debtors

– Working out strategies for protecting the Company’s interest

– Evaluating legal documents and Co-coordinating with Senior Lawyers for representation of the Company before Supreme Court, High Court and other courts and Quasi-Judicial Bodies and Arbitration

– Managing IPR

– Responsible for good corporate governance

– Attending to Labour Matters and Monitoring Compliance under various Industrial Acts., Risk Management and setting Internal Control Processes

– Ensuring compliance of all the relevant laws applicable to the Company

– To advise various BUs, Departments and the management on various legal aspects

– Look after land/property matters

– Transactions structuring

Company Secretary

– Ensuring compliances under Company Laws, FEMA and other corporate laws

– Secretarial work

– Conducting Board & General Meetings, Maintaining Statutory Records

– Handling Issues of Securities.

– Ensuring implementation and updating of systems, processes and controls for all legal and other secretarial functions

– Ensure optimum resource management by way of planning, directing, supporting & controlling functioning of the dept.; ensure effective team management & development
