Edgeverve – Senior Member – Legal (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

– Review, draft, negotiate and manage complex SaaS/Cloud and other kinds of licensing agreements as well as Master Services Agreements.

– Build legal frameworks and strategies for outbound and inbound software licensing transactions

– Resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters

– Handling contract disputes and liaising with law firms where required

– Discuss with internal stakeholders to structure contracts and respond to RFP / RFI

– Assist in developing framework from a legal perspective for software products creation and launch

You Must have :

– LLB., with 5+ years of relevant legal experience. In-house experience in a product company is a must

– Significant experience in handling complex commercial transactions, including IT services agreement, licensing contacts, partnership agreements, subcontracting and vendor contracts

– Comprehensive understanding of complex contractual issues, assess risk, and independently provide concise business-focused legal advice

– Effectively handling contract disputes

– Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize to close critical deals

– Working with internal stakeholders from various business functions

– Highly self-motivated to lead projects with minimal supervision

– Excellent judgment and can craft creative solutions

– Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
