AVP – Legal – Digital Payment Products & Solutions Firm (12-17 yrs)

Hiring AVP – Legal for one of the global leader in Digital Payment products and solutions.

Job details:

Essential: Graduate/Post-graduate in Law from a reputed law school.

Desirable: ACS/FCS (Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India)

– Must have at least a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in IT industry

– Must be highly knowledgeable about Financial System, Global Contracts in IT Industry.

– Drafting & review of domestic & international agreements – such as NDAs, maintenance & procurement agreements, teaming & SI agreements, software escrow contracts, employment agreements, overseas deputation agreements, MOUs, loan agreements, finance related contracts etc.

– Practical exposure & experience in handling litigation, arbitration, out-of-court settlements, conciliation in different courts & tribunals across the country with different parties such as customers, vendors, contractors, business partners, contract employees etc.

– Handling criminal complaints with police & different law enforcement authorities (especially cybercrimes) and criminal cases in the criminal courts & higher courts across the country for ATM thefts, cash misappropriation etc.

– Drafting and implementation of corporate policies, guidance notes, manuals etc., for regulatory & contractual compliance.

– Conducting legal due diligence for M&A, private equity investments etc.

– Experience in IPR work (Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents & Domain Names)

Prefers local candidates or those who are willing to move to Chennai.
